Develop your web app either in Python or other web apps. Make it ready to be shared.

Set up Role Based Access Control in your web apps

When you do not like to share the same content to all users you must set up role-based access control in your web apps. When you set up the connection in VAP we will pass down these security parameters to your web app so you can control the data presented.

Check your code for use of third part data, open sources

You are responsible for your web app and must be compliant with legal requirements. Security and license requirements for 3rd part services are very important and must be high on your agenda. Please follow the guidelines carefully and contact onboarding@veracity.com in case of any questions

Host you web app. Here’s some recommendations, requirements and limitations

Currently Veracity do not offer hosting of solutions. E.g Virtual Machines, webservers etc. Veracity recommends hosting the application at a reputable hosting provider. Hosting in Azure App Service are currently recommended

Hosting by One-Gateway, are a good option but does currently have a limitation for VAP

There are plans that GSS-IT will take over hosting possibility by OneGateway, originally developed by DS. This setup is not general available. Please contact VAP team and together we collaborate with Lars.Peder.Amlie@dnv.com in DS to arrange hosting through OneGateway. Please mention that you want to share the web app through VAP.
