Frequently Asked Questions VAP

I would like to learn what Veracity Adapter is and how to use it

The Veracity Adapter (VAP) enables DNV Service Managers, Product Managers, and Business Analysts to create and share data insights with customers and stakeholders in a more digestible and efficient manner, whether you typically use Power BI reports, other web apps, PDFs, or images.

We host the service for you, and you only need to focus on the content. Your reports can be available for your audience as a new service on Veracity a short time. You can even create a business case around it and sell access to it through the Veracity Marketplace.
The data sits in the regions of your choice enabling you to fulfil regulatory requirements. You can connect data from local storage, the cloud, on Premises or Veracity Data platform.

You have full control of what to share, with whom, and how they can interact with your data. Don’t worry about security, the maintenance and further development, we take care of this for you.

I am new to VAP and would like to share report to external clients and coworkers, what do I do?

  • VAP on VerIT Store. This is the place to request setup of new VAP service. You will be notified when it’s ready to be used, usually within a day.
  • Then you can plug in your already developed Power BI report and share it to your clients or coworkers.
  • Your clients or coworkers will be notified by a Veracity email and can find the service on Veracity My Services page. No licence is required by them to interact with the report.

Does it cost anything to own a Veracity Adapter service?
Yes, there is a yearly subscription fee and a consumption fee based on your VAP service usage.

How can I estimate the approximate consumption price: What will the cost be for a VAP service when I have X number of users and X reports?
