A more modern, intuitive, and visually-appealing app
Determined to deliver an enjoyable user experience, we’re constantly working to fine-tune our user journey and incorporate the latest design trends and visual elements, such as colors, fonts, and dialogues to enhance the appearance.
The new design gives you more information on the Home page. Tags like “Self Subscribe” indicate that this report can be shared with your colleagues, giving them immediate access when they have an Veracity account. “Public View” indicates that the entity is available and public to all. In the header and footer, you will find access to other services, support tools, help center and more.
The number at the far right of each entity indicates how many reports are available inside. Simply click the number to directly open the report that you with to interact with.
Personalization allows you to view your content in a card or list format. Click the table in the header line to explore the difference.
Explore and figure out which format you prefer. Click to the “list” icon to return to default view.
To accommodate multiple device settings and views (e.g. laptop, tablet or mobile), our new user interface makes rendering look great on all devices through responsive design.
On mobile devices card view is the default setting. (To Reports Developers: We strongly recommend optimizing your report for mobile, to ensure a positive user experience)
On smaller screens, page menus and icons will appear from the bottom up.
See below: the image on the far left indicates the pages you may wish to move to, whilst the image on the right suggests actions that you can take.
Some features that are not supported on small screens:
- Release and report tutorial
- Share bookmark
- Full screen
- Admin menu
For these features, we suggest using a monitor or laptops.
Further efficiency gains:
Quickly move from one group of reports to another.
The new design makes you more efficient. Simply click the name and select another group of reports, rather than backtracking.
Click the blue icon bellow to expand/collapse report list to remove the left report section. It allows you to get a bigger part of the screen for the analytics.
Re-click the icon if you want to expand it again.
Collapsed
Similar to the old design, you can always interact with analytics in fullscreen mode using the arrow icon to the right. Re-click it to close.
Efficiency gain on your Home page
Back to where we started. On your home page you can directly open one of the reports in the group . Click the number and scroll down to select the report you want to interact with.
